Men are from Mars
As the 6th girl in a family of 6 girls, sometimes I marvel at the things boys do.
We went to Great Wolf Lodge this week for a couple of days with our homeschool group. This is how boys say goodbye to each other:
You might think this is a novelty, or something they just chose to do this once. But no. The pile of boys is a regular occurrence with this crew. It seems weird to me — or is it just that I am from Venus?

Got something to say?

I’ve never noticed that, exactly. Certainly, boys tend to be more rambunctious, but keep in mind that society encourages that (just as it encourages girls to prefer quieter activities). Neither is bad; neither is desirable as a complete description of a person.
My, I’m in a somber mood, today. Comes from blogging about religion and theology, I expect.
Hey! Nice new look!
So Bill, you are confirming to me that my kids are odd? LOL!! Yep. They are. They are rambunctious, but they are also very physical with each other. It is very different from anything I grew up around, and it takes some getting used to.
Debra, this is my new Christmas theme. Not sure how long I’ll hold on to it. I kind of liked my old theme.
I love that! It depends upon whom my boys are with. My youngest and his cousin are always piled on top of each other. In fact, before he visits, my son gathers all the pillows and cushions from every level of our house and makes a soft pile in preparation!
